Hi. I am trying to set up a WhatsApp campaign. We have an approved template with a {{customer _name}} mapped to {{CONTACT.name}}. I have tried sending to a few contacts in the contacts directory, but keep getting failed sent with no further information. On Meta’s end, I see no errors either. It seems it might be due to phone formatting, but I have no way of knowing. How can I further debug this problem.

Hi Sahil. Thanks for your response. I've sent you a DM with the URL. There was an intial error to to insufficient Campaign credits, but once I purchased the credits, the error wasn't shown.

Hi Sahil. Tried directly from contacts, and although I don't receive any error, I never receive the message either. The campaign still fails as well.

Hi @Sahil. I just tried again directly from the contact page and from the campaign. Both report as sent and the campaign reports as delivered as well, but I never receive the message. I am using the contact Carlos S in the contact book. In Meta Business I see no errors.

Can it be the API is using the number with wrong country code or another formatting error.

hello @Filamonkey We’ve reviewed the logs for your request and found that the messages sent are being blocked by Meta/Facebook due to spam-related checks. This is confirmed by the error response returned from the Facebook API.

We also tested the functionality on our end with different numbers, and it is working as expected.

Could you please try again using a different number or account and let us know the result?

@Sahil I tried a new simpler template, and this time it worked. I encountered one problem though, the template had a predefined quick response, but the response doesn't trigger a bot response
