If I scroll up & down the background website gets scrolled. I am unable to access the website.

Are you using the floating variant of the widget or the in-place version?

Inplace version

For the in-place search widget, you need to manage the area where the widget will appear. The issue you’re facing is happening because the div where you added the widget keeps expanding and does not have a fixed height, which is causing the layout problem.

If you want it to behave like a floating widget, please switch to the floating version and check again.

Despite enabling the Pre-chat form. The live site is directly chatting with the user and not taking the details.

Now all conversation are lablled as Visitor. I tried what yourgpt bot told but that is not working

hello @KD It seems you are using the Search Widget. Currently, the Search Widget does not support pre-chat forms and some advanced features. These are only available in our Main Web Widget.

By when will the pre chat forms supported on search widget?

Because the entire reason we are using yourgpt is to leverage it as a lead generation tool.

You can use our Main Web Widget. It includes advanced features such as lead collection, flow builder (Studio), and human handoff. Feel free to try it out.

For this search widget you can add this to our Feature Request board on Discord. Please mention your use case and any relevant details. I’ll forward it to the team for review and see if we can plan this.
