Hi Team,

We do not want the gmail.com or yahoo.com as submissions on the chatbot. Is there a way that only after adding a business email they can submit this?

Hello KD,

Currently, you can raise a feature request to capturing only business emails and rejecting domains like Gmail.

Meanwhile, you can create a flow in AI Studio to capture the email and apply validation. Using the Form Node or Capture Entity Node, you can set validation to allow only business email domains and reject personal domains such as gmail.com or yahoo.com.

Where do you want that email to be shown Do you have any CRM where you are passing that lead data, or are you planning to?

basically, we do not want people to chat without submitting their business email ids. We want to pass this data to our crm- pipedrive

hello @KD I have shared your use cases with the team. One way is to add an option for custom validation on the email or any field in the pre-chat form. You can add this as a feature request in our feature request channels, and we will see and update you with this.

Hey! We infact upgraded to professional plan today just to solve this. However, even after using the ai studio- the pre-chat form is not getting validated.

It is still capturing gmail.com email ids.

Can you share the conversation in which it failed? Maybe there's an issue with the flow you have set up.
