Hi YourGPT, I'm setting up my agent but as soon as I try to generate a response to an e-mail it only generates in English. Even though the default language is Dutch. How to proceed?

Hello @JellyBean,

At the moment, automatic quick responses are generated in English by default, even if another language is set as the agent’s default.

Hmm ok, what is the workaround then? Because this renders the tool useless to my usecase (unfortunately). Could you please elaborate if there is another way to do this?

For now, you can use the translate functionality. I have already shared your request with the team for consideration.

Is it possible to generate Dutch language in the plugin? I.e. if I use gmail for my customer support - can I generate a Dutch answer there?

In general, the lack of Dutch functionality is rendering the tool "not fit" for my use case. I am surprised this doesn't work because it does work in the test area

Yes, it is possible. I have submitted a feature request on your behalf to generate responses in the user’s preferred language (such as Dutch or others) when selected.

For now, you can generate the response in English and then use the translate option to convert it to Dutch.

Yes, this is possible. Our engineering team needs to make neccessary updates.

This is already planned and is expected to be ready by the end of this month. I will update you as soon as this is available.
